AI Leads Domain Name Sales Trends in March 2026

March 15, 2026

Recent domain name sales reported in March 2026 offer a useful overview of which words and themes are attracting attention in the domain market. As always, it is possible to see patterns in how businesses, investors, and startups are thinking about acquiring domain names for their projects. The keywords highlighted in the chart above reflect the most common terms appearing in domain transactions during this period. Please keep in mind that this snapshot was taken as of March 15, 2026.

One pattern stands out immediately. AI clearly dominates the chart as the most frequent keyword appearing in recent domain sales. This reflects the continued momentum of artificial intelligence across many industries. As companies race to integrate AI tools into their products and services, domain names that contain or relate to AI continue to attract strong demand. This has also been the case during the previous two months, since we started creating the chart.

A good example is GutHealth.ai, which sold for $23,888 on Sedo. The name combines a growing health niche with artificial intelligence, suggesting possible applications such as AI-driven health analysis, medical research platforms, and other health technologies.

Health-related naming also appears in NeuroHealth.com, which sold for $14,250 on GoDaddy. The appearance of the keyword Health in the chart highlights how consistently strong health-related branding remains. Domains connected to healthcare, wellness, and medical technology often attract attention because they can communicate expertise and commercial relevance.

Beyond AI and Health, the chart shows a mix of keywords connected to services, communities, and everyday business activities. Words such as City, Food, Project, Restaurant, Agent, and House appear regularly in domain sales.

For instance, SportCity.de sold for $3,500 on Sedo. The domain could be suitable for sports platforms, local events, or city-focused sports communities. Another example is SlideCityWaterPark.com, which sold for $3,383 on GoDaddy.

The keyword Project also appears prominently in the chart, reflecting how many organizations use domain names to represent initiatives, campaigns, or collaborative platforms. Although we do not have a clear idea whether the name was acquired by a business or an individual, TownHallProject.com, which sold for $7,600 on GoDaddy, demonstrates this pattern well. The name suggests a platform focused on civic discussion, events, or community participation. PeresProjects.com was another domain sold for $11,251 on GoDaddy.

Other keywords included in the chart are Life, Smart, and Soul. These words often appear in domains connected to personal development, wellness platforms, or lifestyle media. One example is WaveLife.com, which sold for $2,700 on GoDaddy.

The keyword Group appears in the sale of Group.co, which sold for $3,999 on GoDaddy. Short, generic words such as Group often appeal to organizations building collaboration platforms, professional networks, or online communities.

Another keyword visible in the chart is Care, which is frequently used in domains related to healthcare services, customer support platforms, and nonprofit initiatives focused on helping people.

Taken together, the keywords appearing in recent domain sales provide a snapshot of where buyer demand is currently concentrated. Artificial intelligence clearly leads the trend, but the broader mix of terms shows that the market remains diverse. Buyers continue to acquire names related to technology, local services, lifestyle branding, and community platforms.
